The Order of the Long Leaf Pine: Edwin Patterson
“The Order of the Long Leaf Pine is the highest award for state service granted by the Office of the Governor.”

On Sunday, June 4th, 2023 with family, friends, and community members in attendance, one of our very own board members, Edwin Patterson, was presented The Order of the Long Leaf Pine by former Congressman Bob Etheridge!
Since 1983, Edwin Patterson has been restoring historic homes and buildings from North Carolina giving the buildings another opportunity to be loved and appreciated. Edwin’s historic village can be found in Broadway on Rosin Lane. Edwin is also involved with assisting Raven Rock State Park. Congratulations on this well deserved nomination!
